The french magazine Arthelius is well known for the beautiful way they present promo photos of our favorite stars in often dreamlike settings, far removed from the original images.Which for that very reason has made them a favorite magazine of mine.
Supernatural has also been featured in their magazine and has had some beautiful illustrations to go along with their interview in the magazine.

As Arthelius is French, unless you can speak the language you might find the interviews hard to understand, but the artwork that appears alongside the articles just adds to the beautiful layout of the magazines.

It’s a little involved but if you click on the Forum tab it will give you a link. click and it will take you to the forum. Then click on Arthelius and you will see a list of past years issues. By clicking then clicking again on one of two links beneath each cover you will be able to see some of the lovely art that appears in the each of the magazine issues.

If you know the blogging site ‘livejournal’ at all and its communities you might have run across the ‘Encyclopedia of weirdness‘ community owned by kentawolf. If not you are in for a treat.
The encyclopedia is a weekly Supernatural comic often referencing the latest episode and illustrating the ‘word’ for the entry. The latest one is this one

My search for images of Jared Padalecki the other day led me to the site of the fantastic artist Aurelia. Her ‘Bobby’ portrait caught my eye (isn’t it awesome!) and I just needed to see more, you can find them over at her site Art by Aurelia .
There is a whole gallery devoted to portraits of Jensen Ackles, while over in the television gallery is where you’ll find portraits of Jared Padalecki, Jim Beaver, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The Impala even makes an appearance!
They really are fantastic and the artist even shows her sketches in the step by step process to the finished work.

Surfing around the net can often find you some real gems. Today a wonderful picture surfaced made by leyna55. Think of the Sam and Dean Winchester crossed with Pirates of the Caribbean and this is what you’ve got. It’s beautifully done, and I wish I could get the faces I draw to look this good.
