Here’s another random blog post about Jared that comes from his appearance in New York Minute. The blog author mourns the loss of her innocence having wasted two hours of her life watching the film. Then comes this bit:

RUNNER-UP BEST PART: The so-not-cute Jared Padalecki (of Gilmore Girls fame) comes into his mother’s hotel room to find both of them in their towels, shaking their blonde locks like the Pantene-commercial stars you know they’re going to end up being anyway, and, after a sharp intake of breath probably meant to suggest his sudden and massive hard-on, says what must have been the most predictable line in cinematic history: “Woah! Is it my birthday?”

Now I’ll admit that I’m not wild about Jared’s look in this movie, but still. can we talk about the “So Not Cute” part?

You’ll find the scene behind the cut in case you’ve never seen it.

Jared Loves Bread!

Posted by: admin   in Honorable Mentions, Jared Padalecki

Another random mention, this time a funny bit from a blog called Assistant/Atlas: Hollywood’s Young Shoulders. This post was put up on December 6, 2005.

The WB- Supernatural (& Related if you’re masochistic- the Frog seems hellbent on seeing that POS succeed) - Dude, all I gotta say is: McG. Rock some McG ‘tude and you’ll get a job at The WB. Also, I saw Jared Padalecki when I was hitting up Panera Bread– which, as all true KC homies know, was originally called “Saint Louis Bread Company”–over on Ventura near Laurel Canyon. I can report with some certainty that Mr. Padalecki is approximately 7 feet, 9 inches tall. And why spec Related? Because they could probably use at least one actual writer for the show. Zing! Wow, that never gets old.

7 feet 9! LOL. I love it.

Jensen on the PhoneI love random mentions of Jensen, Jared and Supernatural, but this one seems more random than usual. If someone knows the joke that I’m not getting, let me in on it.

What we have is a David Tennant (Dr. Who) fansite with a Resident Expert who answers your questions about David. But lo and behold, what should I find at the very top of the page?

Breaking News!

The question we get asked the most is “What’s Jensen Ackles phone number?”

But once we discount all of Bobcat’s emails, the question we really get asked the most is “Who is David Tennant going out with?” Well, I can reveal that David is now single, after a break-up with the lovely Sophia Myles.

I’m so very tempted to email them and ask for Jared Padalecki’s phone number, or at the very least, John Barrowman!

TV Week Mention

Posted by: admin   in Honorable Mentions

TV Week is a trade publication for people in the TV industry, so I’m always thrilled to see positive mentions of my favorite shows included in their columns.  Lucky for me, Michele Greppi who writes The Insider Blog is a fan of Moonlight, Friday Night Lights and. . . oh yes, Supernatural.

Here’s this week’s mention where she proclaims her joy for her DVR.  On her list of currently saved shows on her box?

“A recent “Supernatural” repeat in which Dean (Jensen Ackles) cottons to the idea that he had fathered a spitting-image son.”

How much do I love that she even saves and rewatches (I presume from the tone of the article) even the REPEATS of Supernatural, just like me.

Michele, if you’re reading this, I love your blog because it always makes me go, “hmm, me too!”

Dean Procrastinate?

Posted by: admin   in Honorable Mentions

The author over on Sofa Chip wrote a funny piece about TV Characters who would Procrastinate on their Christmas Shopping. She included Dean in the list and SWEARS she hasn’t seen the most recent episode of Supernatural. If that’s true, then this article is really funny.

Check it out - Dean is near the bottom.

Jensen, a Soap Cliche?

Posted by: admin   in Honorable Mentions, Jensen Ackles

From a site called Shrine to the Soap Hunks, a list of soap cliches. Most of them, oh so true and here’s the Jensen mention.

Now Exiting Salem/Now Entering Talent Concept. Curious phenomenon in which fledgling actors and actresses who display no discernible or noteworthy acting talent while on DAYS OF OUR LIVES suddenly become quite talented in their next role, daytime or otherwise. Examples include Kirsten Storms, Victor Webster, Jensen Ackles, Mary Beth Evans, Wally Kurth, Don Diamont, etc.

I think that’s a compliment. And if you haven’t seen it, this is the site that lists drool-worthy shots of Jensen (Such as the one you see on this post) HERE. Source
