Sunday was the day at the 2008 San Diego comic con for all the Supernatural fans. After the success of last year Eric Kripke, Jared Padalecki, (yes! he made it this year) Jensen Ackles and Sera Gamble all attended this year’s convention, with the surprise of the day, an extra special appearance by the Ghostfacers team. Our own admin was there on the spot and you can find her report on the day’s excitement over at Cyn loves T.V.
If you still crave more from comic con 2008 follow the links over at the Super-wiki Comic con 2008 post. There you’ll find links to photos, videos and reports on the day.
Jared also attended the panel for his new movie ‘Friday the 13th’ to be released on Friday 13th February 2009. You can find the report here at Cyn loves T.V.
While there wasn’t a panel for Jensen Ackles’ movie ‘My Bloody Valentine 3D’ this year they did have a booth promoting the movie. You can find a picture of Todd Farmer and the movie poster below along with the poster for Friday the 13th.

The official description from the CW:
DEAN GETS A CALL FROM HIS FATHER — Dean (Jensen Ackles) is stunned after he receives a phone call from his dad (guest star Jeffrey Dean Morgan) who tells him he has a solution to get Dean out of his deal. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean fight because Sam is skeptical that it is really John on the other end of the phone and warns Dean not to listen to him but Dean disagrees and sets off on his own path to follow his father’s orders. Charles Beeson directed the episode written by Sera Gamble (#314).
*squee* John Winchester! Whether its just his voice or John Winchester in person I can’t wait to have Jeffrey Dean Morgan back on the show! It sounds like they are really amping up the angst in this one.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan who we all loved as Papa Winchester, has been cast to star alongside Kirsten Dunst, Ryan Gosling and Frank Langella in the movie ‘All Good Things’.
The movie is a love story/murder mystery set against a real estate dynasty in the 1980’s. The movie centers around Ryan Gosling’s character who falls in love with Kristin Dunst’s ‘girl from the wrong side of the tracks’. Jeffrey Dean Morgan will portray the down and out Detective called in to investigate the disappearance of Dunst’s character.
Production begins this month.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s new movie “The Watchmen” is a far cry from his latest romantic movie roles. The movie is based on the graphic novel of the same name and was originally a series of 12 comics. Here’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Eddie Blake aka ‘the Comedian’.

He definitely totes some heavy weaponry in this movie. I wonder what John Winchester would think of the weapon he has here?
Did you catch Jeffrey Dean Morgan on Martha Stewart today? He looked all happy and lean and sexy — all cookin’ in the kitchen with Martha. She was totally on him about his relationship with Mary Louise Parker and he was so embarrassed. When she wouldn’t stop, he got his revenge by mocking the way she accidentally stabbed Mary Louise when she guested on the show. Atta boy!
And please, can we talk about Martha saying how Jeff’s died on Weeds, and Grey’s and oh yes. . that other show. . .
Forces Jeff to pipe in with SUPERNATURAL! Seriously, why do they always leave that off his credits? Even his bio on her website doesn’t mention it. It was a huge role for him, better than Weeds.
Anyway, it was nice to see him just hanging and having a good time, talking about his movies and teasing Martha about how the crowd was programmed to go “mmmm” all at the same time.
Wish Jensen and Jared would be asked to do more of this kind of thing. Really fun.
If you missed it, The Martha Stewart Show is rerun at various times during the week, so check your locale listings and to see Jeffrey’s intro and get the recipe for the great Cuban sandwich he made.
From IMDB:
Weeds stars Mary-Louise Parker and Jeffrey Dean Morgan have sparked rumors they have rekindled their relationship - after they attended the premiere of P.S. I Love You together. The pair, who play husband and wife on the hit show, split after six months together in June. But Parker and Morgan were spotted at the movie premiere in Hollywood on Sunday with their arms around one another and holding hands. When asked by People magazine what he thought of his date, Grey’s Anatomy star Morgan responded, “What about her?” before raising his eyebrow and grinning.
