Some years back, Buffy’s Marti Noxon helmed a new series for Fox called Still Life. It was an interesting concept that would probably sell today but sadly was shelved back then. The story is told from the POV of the oldest brother, a cop who was killed in the line of duty. It’s all about how his family copes or doesn’t with the tragedy and it had a marvelous kicky opening sequence that was extra special if you didn’t already know the plot of the show.
Jensen was cast as the younger brother who is in love with dead-big bro’s girlfriend. Great cast, super writing, should have been a hit but Fox pulled it before it ever aired.

Another Oldie but Goodie:
This was a blog written by the staff when Jared and the gang from House of Wax visited. They all had something nice to say about Jared (not so much about the others. . . )
PRODUCER CELESTE: “They were all lovely — very nice and pleasant to work with and all super attractive. Jared did an Aussie accent on air and the cast said he sucked, but Isabel (our genuine Aussie intern) said he was actually quite good.”
P.A. MADELINE: “Paris reapplied make-up during every break and flashed us in the studio a couple times — (white thong if you were wondering. Jared was very sweet with all his female fans and made a point out of giving them all hugs.”

VJ DYLAN: Jared was a really friendly guy and we managed to compare Australian accents while on a commercial break. I think his was a little better than mine, but he’s been acting since he was 12 and has actually spent time in Australia.
